Jewellery designer Gisele Ganne has left her
role as senior silver jewellery designer at Stephen Webster to pursue
her own-brand collections.
Ganne joined Stephen Webster in 2008 having studies at the
Royal College of Art in London. She also ran her own brand on the side,
creating a number of designs including a bird skull ring dubbed the
Divorce ring, as well as a collection inspired by mourning jewellery.
She said: “I decide that it was time to focus more on my
brand. I am now focusing on Gisele Ganne Ltd and will relaunch the
company in October with a new collection.
“I
already have a workshop. For now, I will continue making silver
statement jewellery and one-off pieces. I have fine jewellery in mind
but will be more for the future."
Ganne’s last day with Stephen Webster was yesterday. She had
been a key designer of the British jewellery brand’s silver collections,
a section of the brand that has been on the rise in the UK, Russia and
the US in recent years.
Ganne was named a NexGem in
Professional Jeweller's Hot 100 in 2011.
